Each month we meet to explore the energy of the Mineral Kingdom

During the meeting we will focus on a chosen Crystal, discussing it’s metaphysical properties. You will be invited to participate in a guided meditation to connect with the chosen crystal and to share your personal insights. It is hoped that by opening ourselves in this way we can gain a deeper understanding of the available energy associated with this mineral

Crystal Club - January 2012

We started this important New Year of 2012 with the dynamic, action oriented energy that Pyrite has to offer. It has a solid and strong influence on the lower Chakras, helping us to feel secure & confident in manifesting what we desire. We experienced meditations with the different natural formations: Cubes, Clusters, Globular Nodules & Radiating (Sun Disc); and found that the clusters assisted with clearing the lungs, allowing us to breathe freely and deeply; and the Radiating formation helped to assimilate higher vibrations into the body.
Thanks to all who attended and made the begging of the 4th year of Crystal Club a joy-full experience. xXx

Much merriment was enjoyed with Psychic Pass the Parcel & the Crystal Quiz again this year. We had a great turn out and lots of yummy snacks to make for a real festive feast. There was a great turn out of lovely people for crystal club this month which made sharing our experiences of the crystals all the more meaningful. It was easy to draw out common themes as we worked through the different types and colour of Tourmaline in meditation. Thanks to all who attended and shared so much xXx

Garnet

Crystal Club - September 2011

Garnet is a group of crystals of which there are 6 main types and many sub branches. We learned how to identify these crystals by examining and sensing the energy of the many examples with us at this months meeting: Red Almandine; Melanite which is a Black Andradite; Green Grossular and it sub branches of Green Tsavorite, Toffee coloured Hessonite and white Transvaal Jade; Deep Red Rhodolite which is a Pyrope; and Orange Spessartine. The only one missing from the list was Uvarovite which didn’t seem to impact the enjoyment of the evening one bit.

Crystal Club - September 2011

We had a lovely evening with Beryl, in it's many forms and colours. With special specimines of Emerald, Aquamarine, New Green Beryl, Heliodor, Golden Beryl and Morgonite to connect with. The gentle energy helped to clear away blockages and reveal valuable insights for all the participants in the meditations.

Obsidian

Crystal Club - August 2011

This month we worked with Obsidian and it took everyone on a deep inwards journey, which brought some emotions and some issues to the surface. We found that Obsidian helps you to form a strong connection to the ground but that it also opens the higher Chakras, bringing forth visions and awareness from this expanded state.
We had many forms of Obsidian here: Black, Blue, Mahogany, Snowflake, Apache Tears & Gold, Silver and Rainbow Sheen.
All had their own characteristics but it was obvious that they were all from the same family. In their own way they all opened a doorway to inner truth.

Kyanite

Crystal Club - July 2011

This month we used the ‘connection’/bridging properties of Kyanite to good effect in our meditation. We had Blue, Orange and Black Kyanite to work with. They all connect strongly to the Chakras which made it easy to explore and utilize their energy.

Jasper part II

Crystal Club - June 2011

We had 25 different types of Jasper on display this month. That's for too many to focus on in any depth, so we spent a little time learning to visually identify them and then chose our favourites to work with in meditation. There's a wide range of energy available in the Jasper Family, but all helped to ground our experiences in the here and now.

Moonstone

Crystal Club - May 2011

Thanks to all who shared their insights and experiences as we explored the different energies available from the many colours of moon stone. Our journey meditation took us out onto the African savannah to explore the paths ahead of us with a wise and wonderful Elephant guide.

Green Aventurine

Crystal Club - April 2011

This month there was an intimate group of us that gathered in the cosy upstairs room at Equilibrium. We all basked in the relaxing energy that this wonderful space and Green Aventurine offered. This lovely green crystal expanded our heart chakras and allowed us to connect with the peace and tranquillity offered by our journey into nature. A strong image of trees and forests came up and as always, some useful personal insights were received during the meditation

Apophyllite

Crystal Club - March 2011

There was a wonderful turn out of people for the first crystal club to be held at Equilibrium Natural Health Centre. Some familiar face joined me in welcoming new members into the Crystal Club. The energy was buzzing in this wonderful room and we were all left with no doubt that Apophyllite activates the upper chakras, allowing for easy access to higher wisdom and spiritual guidance. Some wonderful personal insights were gained during the journey meditation, and I feel sure everyone now realizes the benefits that crystal meditation has to offer.

Holiday Party

Crystal Club - December 2010

We had lots to celebrate at the Party this year. It is the 2nd Anniversary of Crystal Club.
Many of the regular members of the club acknowledged how much they have learned about Crystals, Energy and themselves in the last year. We are all much more aware of the influence the earth and global energy has on our lives. There have been many challenges for all this year, and it has been heart warming to know that we have each other and the support of our crystal friends to help us make the energy transitions needed.

We had fun with Psychic Pass the Parcel & the Crystal Quiz, so much so that we ran out of time for meditation.
There were some beautiful crystals from the Henge Shop for sale at discounted prices as tempting gifts.

Jasper part I

Crystal Club - November 2010

Wow! What a collection. We had 25 different types of Jasper to work with this month. That was far too many to get to know on a deep level so we have decided to hold Jasper part II at Crystal Club in the New Year.
This time we focused on connecting with Red, Yellow, Green, Ocean, Zebra, and Fancy Jasper. That still leaves a lot for some other time.... We found a wide variety of energy available from these beautiful minerals, from grounding to expansion of the Brow Chakra.

Turquoise

Crystal Club - Ocotober 2010

We looked into the subtle differences in the energy of Turquoise from selected Mines around the world and learned of the cultural history associated with this blue beauty.
We found that the energy was cleansing and stimulating to the whole Chakra system, not just the throat, as so many think. It provided 'superman' strength to those who participated in the journey meditation, allowing difficult obstacles to be overcome with ease by connecting to the primal power we are all born with.

Emerald

Crystal Club - September 2010

This month we had a lovely evening connecting with heart centred energy of this precious green gem. It opened, unblocked and energized the Heart Chakra in a direct and effective way. Participants who had experienced long term resistance in this area found that the energy was now free to flow around the body in new ways.

Crystal Skulls

Crystal Club - August 2010

Philippe Ullens joined us at this special meeting to share his passion, enthusiasm and knowledge of Crystal Skulls. He brought along a selection of his personal favourite skulls from his large collection to introduce to the group, and we all enjoyed learning about and interacting with these special beings.

We were shown how to visually identify the work of the different sculptors that are available on the market today as well as how to recognise many unusual types of stones.

Deep and profound experiences were had by all during the meditations, and I would like to thank Philippe for his time and for providing new insights into the world of Crystal Skulls.

Pyrite

Crystal Club - August 2010

Pyrite provided powerful masculine energy at this month's meeting, activating the Solar Plexus Chakra with drive and direction. Vivid images and powerful messages were received by the participants of the journey meditation.

Lapis Lazuli

Crystal Club - July 2010

Lapis Lazuli was the focus of our attention this month. We learned about the physical composition of this stone and well as comparing the metaphysical effects of the different polished shapes we had available to us. This stone lived up to its reputation for opening the 3rd eye and led the participants of the meditations on some informative journeys.

Hemimorphite

Crystal Club - June 2010

This month calmness, peace and quiet was brought to the group by the influence of our Crystal Friend. Hemimorphite profoundly shifted the brain function away from the chatter of the logical side to emphasize our psychic abilities. It activated the third eye, providing clear access to visions and channelled information without taking us out of our bodies through the crown chakra.

Some valuable and interesting information was gained by those in attendance. Thanks for sharing!

Malachite

Crystal Club - May 2010

Once again we welcomed a new member to Crystal Club as we explored the dynamic energy of this powerful green stone. Malachite proved its ability to clear and align the Chakra System and and its ability to provide a pulsing protective connection to the heart.

The journey meditation this month highlighted the synchronicity that has brought this group together

Opal

Crystal Club - April 2010

This month's meeting was full of joy and laughter due to the influence of this bubbly beauty. We had many colour of Opal here for us to experience. Blue, Green, Yellow, White, Precious and Purple, but the Pink stole the show, giving us all the giggles.

We all felt we could name a new cocktail 'The Pink Opal' and there would be no need for alcohol

Selenite

Crystal Club - March 2010

This month we explored the energy of Selenite and discovered the powerful effects it has on the Upper Chakras - It openned and Activated them with ease

Ruby

Crystal Club - January/February 2010

Our regular meeting have been subject to disruption this winter, due to weather and other external circumstances. Despite this, we have managed to connect with the energy of Ruby and have been able to call upon its properties to bring stability and protection when it has been needed most

Many lessons have been learned at a deep level, and I send blessing to all who participated.
